Job Description:

An investment banking Vice President at Meridian Capital will lead the execution of M&A and financing transactions. Meridian’s structure gives the Vice President the opportunity to work closely with Managing Directors and interact directly with clients to develop key analytical, communication, and sales skills. The Vice President will lead all aspects of the transaction process, including industry and company research, creating and analyzing financial models, due diligence, deal materials preparation, and deal marketing. Candidates should be top performers who are willing to work hard in an unstructured environment where initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued.


  • Prior investment banking experience ; priority given to candidates who have direct experience with leading M&A transactions for middle-market companies
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience in investment banking
  • Preferred experience in agriculture, food and beverage, and/or diversified industrials
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent analytical capabilities
  • Exceptional management and leadership skills with an emphasis on mentoring, developing, and managing deal teams and junior team members
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and actively manage client relationships
  • Must have the highest level of personal and professional integrity as well as a clear sense of purpose
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and financial modeling
  • Current FINRA Series 79, 63 licenses strongly preferred
  • MBA in finance, economics, or a related field from a top university preferred
